“I've always wanted to make a Yohaku original notebook, but I couldn't give up even though I had given up many times. The powder of Ezo spruce, which is found only in Hokkaido, is sprinkled on the surface of the cardboard kraft to create this Hokkaido material, Ezo spruce craft. I was born and raised in Hokkaido and I love Hokkaido, so it was love at first sight and I really wanted to use this material.” by artist Yohaku.

Yohaku is a small company that produces more than 150 kinds of original masking tapes and other paper goods by collaging various materials, including chic monotone ones, ones with beautiful light watercolor tones, and ones collaged from old pieces of paper. Since the start of his production activities, he has been releasing a new product every month or two, even though he does all the design work himself.
